Casual Help

Peterson Cat has a need for Casual Help at our San Martin, CA location. This is a limited duration job not expecting to last more than six months.

The Casual Help will drive a passenger truck to deliver and sell products or render services, collects money from customers, and makes change by performing the following duties.

Essential Job Functions

• Drives Company truck in safe manner to deliver parts to customer's place of business.
• Collects money from customers, makes change, and records transactions on customer receipt.
• Writes customer orders to include customer's instructions.
• Records sales or deliveries information on daily sales or delivery record.
• Prepares order forms and sales contracts.
• Listens to and relays service complaints to supervisor.
• Collects or picks up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise.
• Loads truck with parts to be delivered up to 50lbs.
• Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
• Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of driving experience and three to six months of customer service experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record.

The pay for this position is: $21.75/hr - 25.01/hr. We also offer a total compensation package in addition to base salary
