Location: 777HarrahsBlvd, Atlantic City, NJ 08401 Company: Buddy'sBoardwalk Empire Pay Rate: $17.00/hr + tips Position Summary The Line Cook at Buddy’s Boardwalk Empire will prepare food to the GM’sexactspecifications and set up stations for the menu. Line Cook duties will consist of assisting theManager’s &Supervisor’s dailytasks.The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing tocustomersatisfaction and acquisition goals. Candidates should enjoy high-volume casino environments as well as an internal sense of urgency and the ability to multitask. Must be willing to work closing shifts and weekends! Responsibilities Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies. Prepare food for service (e.g.chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces). Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff. Answer,reportand follow executive or sous chef’s instructions. Clean upstationand take care of leftover food. Stock inventory appropriately. Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and ina timelyfashion. Comply withnutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards. Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers. Qualifications Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook or Prep Cook. Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients,equipment,and procedures. Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks. Familiar with industry’s best practice. Must be able to communicate effectively and listen attentively to supervisors, employees, vendors, and guests. Must be able to constantly stand and exert well-paced mobility for a period up to four hours in length.
