Schedule: 2nd shift: Monday-Thursday 2:30-12:00am; Friday 12:00pm-4:00pm

Weekend shift: Friday–Sunday, 5:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. (36 paid hours)

Environment: Hands-on, metal manufacturing setting

You’ll work in a fast-paced production environment assembling metal hatches and panels used in major stadiums, entertainment venues, and other high‑visibility projects. What You’ll Do

• Assemble metal hatches and panels using drills, torque tools, wrenches, screwdrivers, and tape measures.
• Read blueprints to complete accurate mechanical assemblies.
• Prepare panels for painting by installing insulation and hanging parts on racks.
• Package finished assemblies to meet customer specifications.
• Cross-train across departments to support production needs.
• Troubleshoot basic fit and function issues using mechanical aptitude.
• Follow all safety procedures while working with tools and metal components.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs regularly.

️ What You Bring

• At least 6 months of mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and accurately use a tape measure.
• Comfort using hand tools and power tools.
• Mechanical aptitude—auto shop or auto body experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a hands-on metal manufacturing environment.
• Attention to detail and willingness to cross-train.

Work Environment

You’ll work in a metal manufacturing setting similar to an auto body shop—hands-on, fast-paced, and tool-driven. The facility is non-union, and you’ll spend most of your time on the production floor assembling components, preparing panels, and supporting multiple departments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn Park, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr.
