Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

ICU RN – General Med Surg

Schedule: 12hr Night Shift, 12x3

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:

• 3+ years of ICU experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications
• Current MT or compact nursing license
• Experience with Epic EMR
• Proficient in managing respiratory failure, DKA, STEMI, overdose, detox, CHF, and complex post-operative surgical cases
• Knowledge of Bipap/Cpap, HHF, Heparin, insulin, and amiodarone drips

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide critical care to patients in the ICU setting.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and care procedures.
• Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must float to Med Surg when needed.
