We are seeking a senior-level SAP Security / Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Consultant for a long-term remote contract opportunity. The consultant will provide day-to-day support for SAP GRC Access Control (AC) and Process Control (PC) while ensuring compliance with organizational policies, internal controls, and Segregation of Duties (SoD) requirements.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with SAP GRC 12, SAP Security, S/4HANA, ABAP and Java security, BRF+, MSMP workflows, and HANA security . Previous public-sector experience is required .

• Configure, maintain, monitor, and support SAP GRC Access Control and Process Control, including jobs, performance, reporting, and troubleshooting.

• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain SAP security roles and user access across SAP NetWeaver, ABAP, Java, HANA, and S/4HANA environments.

• Manage GRC rulesets, Segregation of Duties (SoD) conflicts, mitigation controls, audit reporting, BRF+, MSMP workflows, escalations, and custom workflow paths.

• Perform security audits, support SOX and ITGC controls, troubleshoot access issues, and provide second-level support to functional and technical teams.

• Develop security procedures, technical designs, test plans, training materials, and reports while representing the ERP Security team in project activities.

• Minimum 10+ Years of SAP Security/GRC Experience Required, Including Full-Lifecycle SAP GRC 12 Implementation Experience.

• Public-Sector Experience Required.

• Strong Hands-On Experience With SAP GRC ARM, EAM, BRM, Access Control, Process Control, SoD, BRF+, and MSMP Workflows Required.

• Experience With SAP S/4HANA, HANA User Security, SAP NetWeaver, ABAP/Java Security, Single Sign-On, LDAP Integration, and Hybrid Environments Required.

• Strong Knowledge of SOX, ITGC Controls, Security Auditing, Role Design, GRC Reporting, Troubleshooting, Analytical Problem-Solving, and Technical Communication Required.

The SAP Security/GRC Consultant will support secure, compliant, and well-governed SAP environments across enterprise applications and transformation initiatives.
