HSSE Manager Department: LNG Operations Employment Type: Full Time Location: US LA Cameron - LNG Facility Description This position is the Manager, Health, Safety and Security at our site location in Cameron Parish. The role provides leadership and strategic direction for the safety agenda within the site and drives the development and improvement of Health & Safety processes, systems, and culture. This position is a key member of the site team, providing leadership, support, and advice to management on all Health & Safety issues. Key Accountabilities Manage the CWLNG safety strategy aligned with both Headquarters business strategy and the company safety strategy. Ensure that the EPC Contractor’s action plans are executed, in conjunction with operations and line management, to support the achievement of group safety strategies and vision. Manage the Health & Safety team’s involvement with Construction and Operations to ensure compliance with operations procedures and policies, including PTW, LOTO, and Safety Risk Assessments. Manage CWLNG's PPE programs, including standard PPE, specialty PPE, and uniforms. Oversee the review of Health & Safety policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance. Work with the Emergency Response Team vendor to ensure drills and training requirements are met. Ensure sufficient processes to identify and manage business risks in all safety areas. Manage EPC Contractor’s compliance to ensure compliance with standards defined by relevant legal, regulatory, and internal/industry safety bodies. Provide support and guidance to EPC Contractor and line management on incident investigations and the closure of corrective actions identified, particularly for major incidents. Monitor, audit, and prepare reports to support compliance with procedures, policies, or other requirements driven by federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. Manage the CWLNG HSSE Management software at the site level, including Incident Reporting, BBS, Job Safety Analysis, Permit to Work, etc. Oversee internal audits as well as audits conducted by external agencies, lenders, clients, etc. Work with the greater HSSE team on business initiatives for the betterment of Commonwealth LNG’s safety culture. Qualifications Education, Certificates, and Licenses: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, CSP, CIH or equivalent Experience: 10+ years of experience in HSE Gulf coast experience preferred LNG experience strongly preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong leadership and management skills when dealing with facility teams. Strong delegation and team management skills. Must be able to multitask and handle parallel deadlines, prioritizing company and department goals to deliver projects on time and within organization parameters. Effective communicator at all levels of an organization with individuals and groups from different disciplines, industries, and governmental agencies. Broad-based policy knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Organized and able to manage multiple projects. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Advanced Excel with pivot tables, PowerPoint). Ability to work in extreme environments (heat & cold). Must be able to lift 25 pounds. Must be able to climb stairs. Must be able to don and wear all standard PPE, including fire-resistant clothing. #J-18808-Ljbffr
