Bilingual HR Coordinator

Job Description CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a Bilingual HR Coordinator in the Salem, NH area. Location Salem, New Hampshire Responsibilities Enter and maintain new hire information within the HRIS system, including employee updates, terminations, status changes, and other personnel actions in accordance with company policies and established standard operating procedures. Perform weekly audits of employee timesheets to support accurate and timely payroll processing. Process background checks and coordinate pre-employment screening activities for prospective employees. Conduct New Hire Orientation sessions, including education on employee benefits, company policies, procedures, and workplace expectations. Serve as a liaison for HRIS-related functions and provide support for site-based timekeeping and timeclock systems. Generate, review, and analyze employee, labor, and financial reports, including auditing invoice reports as needed. Assist employees with completing electronic forms and processing updates related to address changes, employment status changes, and benefits enrollment or modifications. Support recruiting activities, including candidate screening, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, termination processing, and employee training initiatives. Coordinate orders and vendor requests for office equipment, supplies, temporary staffing services, and other operational needs. Communicate company announcements, policy updates, and organizational information to employees in a timely and professional manner. Desired Background/Skills Candidate must be bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages. High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of two years of progressive administrative support experience required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; candidates without a degree may qualify with equivalent Human Resources experience. Experience with HR and payroll systems preferred. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, along with strong data entry and typing skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers, and groups. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Positive attitude with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating procedures, maintenance instructions, and policy manuals, and to prepare routine reports and correspondence. Ability to manage small projects and special assignments while meeting deadlines and organizational objectives.
