Best Care Therapeutic Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dedicated team. This remote position will allow you to provide high-quality mental health support to individuals dealing with various mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders.

Work Environment

This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to effectively balance your professional responsibilities with personal commitments. Our office operates during standard business hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM), enabling you to maintain a predictable schedule while making impactful contributions to the mental health field.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' needs and determine the severity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms.
• Collaborate closely with clients to create individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique situations and aspirations.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective interventions tailored to each client’s needs.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment processes, and self-care strategies to empower them on their healing journeys.
• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Work in concert with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to foster a holistic approach to care, ensuring that all aspects of a client's well-being are addressed.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment, integrating new insights into your practice to continually improve client care.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to share knowledge and support one another in delivering exceptional mental health care.
• Actively advocate for clients, helping to break down the stigma surrounding mood disorders and promoting dialogue about mental health needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including those struggling with depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will engage with a diverse array of clients, creating a culturally competent environment that respects individual backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in employing evidence-based treatment modalities specifically for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology, allowing for effective collaboration with psychiatrists and medical professionals.
• Proven success in achieving positive outcomes for clients dealing with mood disorders in prior positions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a strong rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in outpatient mental health settings.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for accurate documentation and assessment.
• Previous involvement in community outreach or mental health advocacy initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
