Shop Helper — Urgently hiring in Salem! Job Title: Shop Helper Pay: $20 per hour Hours: Monday-Friday 6am-4:30pm Start Date: Looking for a role with great overtime potential? Join a manufacturing company specializing in cabinets, countertops, and reception desks in Salem as a Shop Helper and enjoy a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you can make a real impact every day. As a Shop Helper, you'll assist in a busy plant environment working on custom residential cabinetry, commercial casework, and architectural millwork. Your role is crucial in supporting production, handling deliveries, and keeping the workspace clean and efficient.

What You'll Do As a Shop Helper, you will be responsible for:

• Helping in the plant working on custom residential cabinetry, commercial casework, and architectural millwork
• Assisting with deliveries when needed
• Sanding parts
• Cleaning parts
• Scraping parts
• Assembling cabinets
• Building up of countertop parts
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Sweeping and cleaning up the shop

What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• The ability to lift and maneuver 50 pounds
• A valid driver's license and a good driving record for the last 3 years (preferred but not mandatory)
• Previous woodworking experience or interest in woodworking (desirable but not mandatory)
• Construction skills are helpful and relatable
• Comfort with stooping, bending, and twisting throughout the shift
