Job Description As a Security Officer Alarm Response in Hazelwood, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms and access-control needs, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $21.53 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, business areas, restricted-access locations, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site. Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, maintain visitor and contractor records, and report unusual activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
