We built an efficient, transverse operation that powers profit, empowers people, and reunites them under one creative, collaborative, success-oriented mission.JOB OVERVIEW:The Part-Time Bookkeeper (20 hours per week) role is responsible for computing, classifying, and recording financial transactions to ensure the financial records of the high-net worth private clients are accurate. They also assist the Account Manager in overseeing the finances of the assigned clients.LOCATION: Newport Beach, CA – Hybrid (approximately 1 or 2 days a week in Newport Beach is preferred)WHAT YOU'LL DO:Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivablePerform and review credit card and bank reconciliationsMaintain electronic filing systemGeneral communication with vendors, clients, and client representatives via phone, email, and in-personPerform and review cash flow reports and cash balances as requiredAssist in assembling information for year-end tax packages for tax teamProvide assistance on insurance questionsPrepare and review 1099 reportsPrepare and review journal entriesAssist in the preparation and processing of payroll, as well as applicable reportingPrint reports (such as financial statements) for reviewOther projects and duties as assignedSupervise and train assigned team membersWHAT YOU'LL BRING:Preferred: 2+ years of bookkeeping experience in an entertainment business management firmExperience with Agilink and/or DataFaction software is nice to have but not requiredAssociate's or bachelor's degree in accounting is preferredAbility to analyze and interpret accounting data with a critical eyeProfessional demeanor and communicationsThorough knowledge of financial record-keeping methods, procedures, and practicesAbility to review financial documents for accuracy, completeness, validity, and adherence to standardsUnderstanding of a chart of accounts, mortgages and leases, payroll taxes, and use of divisions and journalsDetail oriented and organizedCOMPENSATION:The national average hourly rate for this role is $24.00 - $29.00 per hour in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits, and this role will average 20 hours per week.
