Job Description

CNC Lathe Set-Up/Operator

Days: 6am-4pm, Mon thru Thurs OR Tues thru Fri

Pay: $35-$45/ hour DOE

Direct Hire

We're looking for an experienced CNC machinist that will create programs, set up jobs, making program improvements, solving problems and producing quality parts.

Responsibilities:

Set up, program, edit, and operate Miyano turning centers
Write and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM and longhand programming
Set up new and repeat production jobs
Improve programs and machining processes to reduce cycle times
Inspect parts during production and verify finished dimensions
Make tool offsets and replace inserts as needed
Read blueprints and interpret GD&T
Troubleshoot machining and programming issues

We are looking for:

Experience setting up and operating CNC Lathes with live tooling
Experience with Citizen/Mitsubishi controls a plus
CNC programming and editing experience
Dependable work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team
Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
