Spectra Tech, Inc. is hiring several Mechanical Designers in Richland, WA.

Position Overview

The Mechanical Designer/Drafter will provide design and drafting support, including development and revision of 3D models, drawings, piping layouts, and related engineering design documentation.

Responsibilities

Develop 3D models .
Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings and Bills of Materials (BOM) .
Develop frame, piping, and component detail drawings .
Perform drawing revisions based on review comments.
Support development of electrical drawings and P&IDs .

Required Qualifications

5+ years of SolidWorks experience , including:
- Large assemblies
- Weldments
- Routed piping
Experience developing fabrication drawings to ASME Y14.5 (GD&T) .
U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with skid/process piping design .
Experience with nuclear-quality drawing and document control .
