Qualifications & Experience:

• Certification or registration as an Endoscopy Technician and/or Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer
• Experience conducting both endoscopic imaging and diagnostic sonography in a clinical or hospital environment
• Proficiency with relevant imaging technology and safety standards
• Ability to assist in preparing patients and equipment, maintaining a sterile environment during procedures
• Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail
• Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality

Primary Responsibilities:

• Set up and calibrate imaging equipment for endoscopic and ultrasound procedures
• Assist physicians and medical staff during endoscopic and ultrasound examinations
• Capture high-quality images and maintain accurate, thorough patient records
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Maintain, sterilize, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimal functioning
• Provide clear communication to patients, explaining procedures and addressing concerns
• Support inventory management for supplies related to imaging procedures
