We are seeking a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineer with 5+ years of experience in aerospace structural design and analysis to support the development of advanced aircraft and missile platforms. This role will be responsible for the design, analysis, testing, and manufacturing support of primary and secondary aircraft structures throughout the full product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop metallic and composite aircraft structures from concept through production

Perform structural analysis, stress analysis, and FEA including strength, buckling, fatigue, and damage tolerance assessments

Conduct trade studies to optimize weight, performance, manufacturability, cost, and schedule

Apply design-for-manufacturing principles to support efficient production

Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams including systems, aerodynamics, manufacturing, and integration

Provide engineering support during prototype builds, testing, and manufacturing activities

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field

5+ years of aerospace structures design and analysis experience

Proficiency with CAD software and engineering analysis tools

Experience with FEA software such as ANSYS, NASTRAN, or equivalent

Strong understanding of stress analysis, fatigue, load paths, structural mechanics, and composite materials

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with clean-sheet aircraft development

Siemens NX proficiency

Uncrewed aircraft or advanced aerospace platform experience

Hands-on manufacturing or prototype development experience

Knowledge of high-temperature materials and aerospace fabrication methods
