Billing Specialist

Billing SpecialistCentury Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Billing Specialist to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $70,000 to $85,000 per year.Job Responsibilities:Review and audit client bills to ensure rate compliance, accurate narratives, and proper transfersPrepare and submit electronic invoice files while resolving e-billing issues efficientlyMonitor e-billing progress and ensure timely resolution of deductions and setup issuesCoordinate with internal departments and clients to address billing-related questions and transitionsAssist with month-end closing, reporting, and ad hoc analysis of complex client accountsRequirements:Understand written procedures and apply detailed notes to perform tasks consistentlyDemonstrate strong written communication skills in customer service emails and documentationSolve billing problems by proposing effective and creative solutionsUse MS Excel with advanced proficiency including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and SUMIF formulasPerform basic math calculations accurately and consistentlyQualifications:A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent (preferred)5+ years of billing or eBilling experience in a law firm environmentUse Elite 3E and eBilling Hub with confidence and accuracyCommunicate clearly and professionally with all levels of personnelMaintain a customer service mindset with strong organizational and multitasking skills
