Human Resources Coordinator

At our door controls manufacturing facility, we don’t just build products—we keep people, processes, and performance in motion. We’re looking for a dynamic and detail‑driven Human Resources Coordinator who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and plays a critical role in shaping the employee experience from day one. Responsibilities Support employee engagement activities, payroll attachments, certificates, coupons, display TV monitors, and update slides. Provide support to the General Manager, Operations Management, and Supply Chain teams organizing and updating data or special projects as needed. Manage employee benefits portal and address pending action items. Handle recruiting activities including internal job postings, interview scheduling, and reviewing applications. Initiate background checks, physicals, and drug screen requests on the “Accurate” website. Handle new‑hire onboarding processes: compile and maintain paper documents and electronic records, create badges, complete forms, enroll in benefits, schedule and coordinate logistics for orientations. Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date files, records, and documentation of existing employees while preserving integrity and confidentiality. Manage temporary employee workforce: issue badges, report injuries, and send hours‑worked reports to respective agencies. Assist with planning and execution of company‑wide events (annual, ongoing) including meeting room and vendor bookings, onsite clinics, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and other celebrations. Provide benefits–related support such as new‑hire enrollments, open‑enrollment testing, managing inquiries from employees on benefits status, retiree enrollment and termination, ensuring tasks in the benefit system are completed, adding members, coverage, etc. Manage Health and Safety data including injury updates, tracking, and other employee medical records. Manage FMLA tracking: process requests, review claims, and issue approval or denial. Pull monthly reports for departments. Address payroll inquiries from employees (help with ADP access and usage). Print, activate, deactivate employee badges; maintain badging printing system and order badge‑printer supplies as needed. Receive and process company‑wide business card requests in a timely manner. Manage Fastenal access by working with the on‑site Fastenal representative. Demonstrate knowledge of payroll processing procedures and other time‑sensitive HRBP tasks in the event of an absence. Required Skills & Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact and professionalism. Meticulous attention to detail. Fantastic organizational and time‑management skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of state laws and regulations related to employment. Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn a human resource information system (HRIS) and similar computer applications. Education & Experience Proven success working in an HR department in a busy manufacturing setting. Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field or Human Resources preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
