Details Work in a 32 bed Emergency Department at a hospital facility Patient ratio of 4:1 Unit staffed with CNCs, RNs, Medics, and PCTs across all shifts Uses Meditech EMR system Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Rotating nights and weekends with 4 weekend shifts per schedule No on-call requirements 13-week contract assignment Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Emergency Department nursing required Experience greater than 2 years preferred Experience performing procedures such as LPs, intubations, TNK administration, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting Perform emergency procedures including LPs, intubations, TNK administration, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting Ideal candidates are strong team players who can anticipate patient and department needs Dress code requires navy blue scrubs with a navy blue zip-up sweater; pullover sweatshirts are not permitted Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this travel position Local candidates will not be considered US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration First-time travelers may be considered for this role American Traveler Job ID P-734123.
