Details Work in a high-volume Emergency Department with 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 fast track beds, and 5 behavioral health beds Patient ratios of 1:4 in the ED, 1:5 in behavioral health, and 1:3 in cardiac/trauma Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Rotating weekend requirement No on-call requirements Uses Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers Charts in MEDITECH 13-week contract assignment Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS, and CPI Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience required Meditech experience preferred Trauma experience preferred Holding inpatient experience preferred No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Perform emergency care procedures including splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central line care, airway support, and resuscitation Provide behavioral health de-escalation and Morgan lens irrigation as needed Work alongside a team including PCTs, a paramedic, and an LVN Ideal candidates are multitaskers, team players, and self-starters Navy blue scrubs required for RNs Active unit-based council and social committee Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position First-time travelers may be considered American Traveler Job ID P-745197.
