Senior Corporate Accountant

Senior Corporate Accountant This role reports to a Corporate Accounting Manager and assists with tasks throughout the month focusing on maintaining accurate cash balances, completing entries for month‑end close, and compiling draft financials for review. Location: Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex (DFW) required. Primary Responsibilities Provide internal and external reporting of market financial results. Prepare and record journal entries including recurring monthly entries, cash transactions, reclasses, and other entries. Maintain daily cash reconciliations and prepare month‑end bank reconciliations. Review invoice coding and prepare AP batches for review by the managing partner. Prepare and post customer and intercompany billings. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations. Assist with research and explanation of month‑over‑month variances. Complete other ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline is required. 3‑5+ years related accounting/reporting experience. GAAP knowledge and some experience required. The ability to work with a large volume of data is preferred. Commercial Real Estate or similar service industry experience is preferred. Proficient knowledge of Excel required, including creation and troubleshooting Pivot Tables and various formulas. ERP accounting software experience required; Yardi and/or Workday is a plus. Ability to take initiative in solving routine/advanced problems but present solutions to manager for feedback on complex issues; high attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Desire to work in a cooperative, productive, team‑driven environment and willingness to share information with co‑workers as appropriate.
