Vehicle Technician

Responsibilities include:/pulliConfigure, set up, maintain, diagnose, and sign off on vehicles for safe on-road usage./liliMay need to travel locally to perform this work from time to time/liliSync with Shop Foreman to ensure all vehicles are in a ready state for demonstration and testing requirements/liliPerform diagnostics and escalate to the appropriate engineering team if required/liliCoordinate and drive the repair process/liliCreate diagnostic test plans as the team sees fit/liliMaintain service records and document quality field reports/liliMaintain shop facilities, ensure tools are in order, and workspace is in excellent working condition/liliAssist with parts inventory, location, and organization/liliBuild an excellent service experience for internal teams and business partners/li/ulpRequirements include:/pulliExtensive knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles/liliMinimum of 2 - 4 years of technician experience/liliReliable, self-starter, roll-up-the-sleeves work ethos/liliAbility to multi-task and manage multiple projects and deliverables/liliTeam player/liliExcellent written and verbal skills/liliMust be honest, responsible and an outstanding communicator/liliForklift and/or gantry operation is required: Current and valid forklift operator certification compliant with Cal/OSHA standards/liliExperience in an automotive-focused engineering or research lab (i.e. Dyno, Battery, etc.)/liliKnowledge of CAN, wiring diagrams and soldering preferred/liliExperience and ability to tow a car hauler and other large trailers to transport fleet vehicles/liliTechnical trade school certificate or Associate Degree in automotive repair/li/ulpWhy should you apply?
