Job Description

We are seeking a Level IV NICU trained Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU experience who is willing to work on the adult floor, in the ICU, as well as in the Level IV NICU. This role offers the opportunity to provide critical care to neonates and to assist in various respiratory therapy procedures while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized respiratory care to patients in the Level IV NICU, Adult floor, and ICU settings.
• Perform assessments and maintain ventilatory support for patients, including high-risk deliveries and transportation of NICU patients.
• Administer aerosol treatments, manage tracheostomy care, and conduct chest physiotherapy.
• Utilize various respiratory modalities including high frequency jet ventilators and ECMO.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two years of experience in respiratory therapy with NICU experience is mandatory.
• Washington State Respiratory License required.
• National certification as an RRT is required.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications preferred.
• Experience with level 3 NICU and high-frequency ventilation preferred.
