# Assistant Fleet AdministratorApplylocations: Independence, MOtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted 10 Days Agojob requisition id: JR101612It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!*We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.***Department:** Public Works**Grade:** 230**Salary:** $29.84/hour**Job Duties:*** Manages functions including timekeeping, human resources activities, inventories for fleet and operations, and reports; coordinates building/groundskeeping needs and repairs.* On call 24/7 for inclement weather and emergencies; researches training opportunities for operations, fleet, and administrative staff, and recommends training to management; assists with the annual road program, ice and snow removal, and annual work plan.* Coordinates operations within the department and ensures requests for service is investigated; visits jobsites during construction season; and is liaison for the department dealing with internal and external customers and stakeholders.* Responsible for assisting in the preparation of an annual budget for procurement of goods and services for the department.**Minimum Qualifications:*** Associate's Degree or the equivalent. Specialized training or certification in a related field may be required.* Five years of public administrative experience in the public or private sector.* A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.* Must possess a valid Class B CDL or obtain a Class B commercial driver's license with air brake endorsement within six months of hire.* Must submit to/pass pre-employment background and drug screen*If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!*
