Line Cook – Sinya Mediterranean

Location: River North – 354 W Hubbard St, Chicago, IL

Sinya Mediterranean is looking for a talented, energetic, and dependable Line Cook to join our growing team.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in quality food, works well with others, and can stay focused in a fast-paced kitchen.

What We’re Looking For:

Previous kitchen or line cook experience
Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Able to work quickly and stay calm under pressure
Detail-oriented and committed to consistency
Must be available to work at least some weekends
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities:

Prepare high-quality dishes consistently and efficiently
Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked station
Follow recipes, prep standards, and food safety procedures
Work closely with teammates to keep service running smoothly
Communicate clearly and respectfully in a busy kitchen
Show up on time and ready to work

Lo Que Buscamos:

Experiencia previa en cocina o línea
Actitud positiva y buen trabajo en equipo
Responsable, puntual y profesional
Capacidad para trabajar rápido y bajo presión
Atención al detalle y compromiso con la consistencia
Debe estar disponible para trabajar algunos fines de semana
Bilingüe inglés/español es una ventaja

Responsabilidades:

Preparar platos de alta calidad de manera constante y eficiente
Mantener una estación limpia, organizada y abastecida
Seguir recetas, estándares de preparación y procedimientos de seguridad alimentaria
Trabajar con el equipo para mantener un servicio fluido
Comunicarse de manera clara y respetuosa en una cocina ocupada
Llegar a tiempo y listo/a para trabajar
