Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following posted policies, and responding to emergency and/or non-emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and sharing observations with site leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor customer and visitor activity at the location, assist with access and directional support, and report suspicious behavior, property concerns, and/or policy violations.
• Support retail operations during opening, closing, and busy business periods by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with crowd and line management, and helping with security-related response needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
