Why This Controller Opportunity Stands Out Highly visible role with direct interaction with executive leadership Opportunity to build and influence the future finance organization Significant career growth potential as the company continues to expand Ability to make a lasting impact on systems, processes, and team development Competitive compensation package including bonus and long-term incentive opportunities Controller Responsibilities Lead all day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, financial reporting, month-end close, treasury, fixed assets, and account reconciliations Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Develop and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making Oversee the preparation of audited financial statements and coordinate with external auditors Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and evolving reporting requirements Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalabilityBuild, mentor, and develop a growing accounting team Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning initiatives Support corporate transactions, organizational restructuring activities, and other strategic projects as needed Lead implementation and optimization of accounting systems and reporting tools Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, legal, HR, and executive leadership Controller Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance CPA strongly preferred 8+ years of progressive accounting experience Combination of public accounting and industry experience preferred Proven leadership experience managing and developing accounting teams Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements Experience leading audits and working directly with external auditors Demonstrated success improving accounting processes and controls within a growing organization Advanced ERP and financial systems experience Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Institute of Management Accountants, Inc.
