Job OverviewFairview is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our primary care practice at M Health Fairview Clinic – Eden Prairie. Join a collaborative and growing practice with a supportive, experienced care team dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care..Position Overview:The Family Medicine Physician will examine, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages for acute injuries, infections, and illnesses, while also providing preventive care and counseling patients and families on acute and chronic conditions. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, team-based care model focused on high-quality outcomes and patient-centered care.Practice Details:Established primary care practice with a collaborative team-based environmentPatient encounters average 18 patients per day1.0 FTE = 34 patient contact hours per weekCall Frequency: Low intensity, phone consultation only with first-tier nurse triageOpenings: 0.75 to 1.0 FTE (Full Time) – flexible scheduling optionsFully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history and physical examsDevelop differential diagnoses and order appropriate diagnostic testingProvide preventive, acute, and chronic disease managementPrescribe medications and administer vaccinationsInterpret diagnostic results and implement treatment plansRefer patients to specialists as appropriateMaintain accurate and timely medical documentationParticipate in cross-coverage and care coordinationCollaborate within a multidisciplinary care teamEngage in quality improvement initiatives and system-based practicesEnsure compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standardsQualifications:Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency programBoard Certified or Board Eligible (ABMS or AOA)Licensed or ability to obtain licensure through the Minnesota Board of Medical PracticeAbility to obtain and maintain DEA certificationMeet credentialing and privileging requirementsIncome Details:Resident stipend, Medical School loan forgiveness, sign-on bonus and relocation available.Initial 2 year salary guarantee with ability to exceed on an innovative compensation program rewarding production, quality and patient experience.Comprehensive benefits package: generous time off and CME allowance, malpractice insurance (includes tail coverage), retirement contributions, & more.Benefit OverviewFairview offers a generous benefit package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, CME, tuition reimbursement, retirement, and more! The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions.
