Warehouse Lead Asheboro, NC 2nd shift 11am-7pm

Graham Personnel Services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Lead to join the team. The Warehouse Lead will play a crucial role in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining a positive working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision and Leadership: Lead and motivate warehouse staff to achieve daily operational goals. Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to team members. Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
• Inventory Management: Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of goods. Conduct regular inventory checks and implement corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with other departments to optimize inventory levels.
• Order Fulfillment: Ensure accurate and timely order picking, packing, and shipping. Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries. Resolve order discrepancies and address customer inquiries.
• Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with warehouse regulations. Conduct regular safety training sessions for warehouse staff. Investigate and report any safety incidents.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements. Implement best practices to enhance warehouse operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes.
• Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and proper functioning of warehouse equipment. Coordinate repairs and schedule routine equipment inspections.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations.
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
