Welder - 1st shift Details:

• Temporary position
• $ 20.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday)

Elwood Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to join a growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience with MIG welding, the ability to read blueprints and work instructions, and a strong commitment to quality and safety. This role involves fabricating and welding metal components to meet production and customer specifications. Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding on steel and other metal components. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.

Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently. Inspect welded parts to ensure quality standards are met.

Measure, cut, and prepare materials for welding.

Grind, clean, and finish welded products as required.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Follow all company safety procedures and quality requirements.

Assist with general manufacturing and production duties as needed.

Previous MIG welding experience preferred.

Ability to read measuring tools, blueprints, and production drawings.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Manufacturing or fabrication experience is a plus.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Experience welding in a production environment.

Knowledge of welding symbols and fabrication techniques.

Experience with metal fabrication, assembly, and inspection processes.
