This individual will directly oversee a team of SEO content resources, collaborate closely with our web development team and SEO agency, and help to prioritize SEO + AIO (AI optimization) initiatives to maximize organic traffic and conversions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing successful SEO projects, galvanizing others to adhere to SEO best practices and a passion for staying ahead of industry trends.Primary Job ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the web content team, field and Home Office teams to ensure SEO+AIO projects are executed in a timely and correct manner.Manage a team of SEO content writers ensuring high-quality and SEO-optimized content production.Develop and implement comprehensive SEO +AIO strategies aligned with business goals, including on-page and technical SEO, in collaboration with SEO agency and direct manager.Advise PulteGroup field teams as a subject matter expert on SEO+AIO to steward best practices while leveraging field learnings for future enhancements.Prioritize, scope and execute SEO+AIO projects using data-driven decision-making, ensuring deadlines and performance goals are met.Oversee relationship with -Listing Tool executional team to ensure Google Business Listings are correct and up-to-date.Conduct keyword research to identify additional business opportunities and guide/hone content creation.Adapt strategies as needed in response to search engine algorithms, trends, and best practices.Monitor, analyze, and report on key SEO+AIO metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Profound, Brightedge, Adobe Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.Other duties as assigned.Management ResponsibilitiesDelegates work according to employee's abilities and skills.Provides input to employee's performance evaluations.Assists in the identification of internal and external training opportunities.Provides continuous coaching with regard to functional and leadership standards (technical skills and behaviors).ScopeDecision Impact: DepartmentDepartment Responsibility: SingleBudgetary Responsibility: NoDirect Reports: NoIndirect Reports: YesPhysical Requirements: Not applicableRequired Education/ExperienceBachelor's degree in in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of SEO experience, including SEO researchMinimum 2 years of experience in a team lead roleRequired Licensing, Registration and/or CertificationsGoogle Analytics Certification preferredGoogle Search Console Certification or other relevant Google based certifications a plusRequired Skills/KnowledgeProven ability to manage and optimize content for search engines and AI search with a data-driven mindset and attention to detail.Exceptional interpersonal, problem-solving, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision making, and conflict resolution skillsThe ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications, perform resource allocations, and run team meetingsComprehensive knowledge of SEO and emerging AIO best practicesIn depth knowledge of resource planningAbility to perform keyword research and analysisWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
