Machinist requirements: 0–3+ years of machining or manufacturing experience. Experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes. Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools. Basic math, mechanical aptitude, and strong attention to detail. High school diploma or equivalent. Technical machining certificate holders or recent machining program graduates are encouraged to apply.

Machinist job duties: Set up and operate CNC and manual mills, lathes, and machining equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, BOMs, and technical drawings. Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools. Adjust machine offsets, tooling, feeds, and speeds to maintain quality standards. Troubleshoot machining issues and complete production documentation. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while following all safety procedures.
