Job Title: Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele)

Facility Location: 302 University Parkway, Aiken, SC 29801
⏰ Shifts: Day 3x12-Hour

Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Description:

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit for adult patients with acute medical and cardiac monitoring needs
• Work 3x12 day shifts while delivering safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications and treatments, monitor telemetry, recognize changes in patient condition, and provide patient and family education
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient nursing experience required
• Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Minimum 6 months of travel nursing experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Current RN license in the state of practice required
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required
• Required Certifications:

• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute – NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training)
  • BSN highly preferred
  • Travelers must reside more than 100 miles from the facility
