Description

This is an exciting opportunity to provide direct and indirect patient care. You will be an integral part of the clinic's success. You will be responsible for evaluating and treating, managing acute health problems using evidence-based protocols, and creating and implementing appropriate treatment plans under the supervising physician. • Follow up on labs, imaging, and closed-loop communication with other providers as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited NP or PA program
• Active Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant license in Tennessee
• Prescriptive authority
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience
• BLS certification
• Willingness to work 2x 12-hour shifts every Saturday and Sunday (Example shifts: 7a-7p or 11a-11p ET)
• Ability to type at 65 words per minute (preferred)
• DEA license (preferred)
• Multi-state licensure (preferred)
• Experience in a fast-paced urgent care or acute care environment (preferred)

Required Skills/Knowledge

• Successful completion of an accredited NP or PA program according to Tennessee State Law
• License and Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of Tennessee
• Prescriptive authorization
• Two years of relevant clinical experience
• BLS/ACLS
• DEA
• Certified DOT examiner preferred
