Key Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with valid credentials for school-based practice
• Solid understanding of therapy protocols within K-12 environments
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
• Previous experience in school or pediatric settings highly valued
• Proficient in developing and implementing individualized therapy plans

Core Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to determine physical therapy needs as outlined in IEPs
• Design and guide therapy interventions that promote students' functional independence and participation in school activities
• Monitor progress, document services, and adjust plans as necessary to meet evolving goals
• Attend and actively contribute to IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and parents
• Provide education, strategies, and support to staff and families to optimize student success in both classroom and extracurricular environments
