Floor Nursing (LPN/RN) – Memory Care Unit $42.00 - $52.00 per hour | Great benefits! | Company Paid CEUs Era Living is seeking full-time Floor Nurses (LPN/RN) for our Memory care unit at Ida Culver House Broadview, a beautiful retirement community in North Seattle, WA. Available shifts will be overnight from 11 PM to 7:30 AM. Exact days of the week can be discussed. Ida Culver House Broadview is close to several bus lines and has ample free street parking nearby. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to productively communicate with residents living with dementia and their families Ability to provide resident and family education Ability to use a computer, including Word, spreadsheet, email and internet Ability to foster a positive environment and represent Era Living in a competent, professional manner Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form Ability to read, write and communicate in English Ability to pass DSHS background check, required Education and Experience Graduate of School of Nursing as an LPN or RN Must be able to complete Modified Fundamentals of Caregiving Two years’ experience working with older adults Able to provide skilled nursing tasks to older adults Must complete Caregiver Mental Health and Dementia specialty training Must have current CPR certificate Food Handler’s Certificate or able to obtain within 14 days of hire About Era Living At Era Living and our eight retirement communities, our mission is to honor older adults by enhancing the quality of their lives.
