Position: Academic Heart Failure Cardiology Physician

Start Date: Immediate

Compensation: $500,000 - $600,000 annually

Join our organization to develop your advanced heart failure practice while benefiting from extensive transplant services and the largest pulmonary hypertension unit in the southeastern region. We are seeking a Heart Failure Physician to become part of our esteemed Division of Cardiovascular Disease, which is consistently recognized among the top 50 hospitals in the nation for cardiology and heart surgery.

• Oversee all facets of heart failure management, including transplant procedures and ventricular assist devices (VADs), with access to the largest pulmonary hypertension unit in the southeast.
• Participate in educational and research initiatives while enrolling patients in clinical trials.
• Engage in research and faculty duties with flexible arrangements available.
• Manage 20-25 patients in the Heart Transplant Intensive Care Unit (HTICU), collaborating with a team of four physicians in a dedicated 20-bed unit.
• Conduct right and left heart catheterizations and biopsies during weekly outpatient catheter lab rotations for transplant patients.
