Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Permit Holder in Seattle, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $32.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 01:00 AMFri03:00 PM - 01:00 AMSat03:00 PM - 01:00 AMSun03:00 PM - 01:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to shoppers, store associates, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures. Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines. Minimum Requirements: Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit. Possess an Armed Guard Card/License. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
