As a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist passengers, visitors, and staff with professionalism. Pay Rate: $29.93 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at public transportation facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit platforms, stations, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing visitors, and report unauthorized access, suspicious behavior, or property concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
