Vice President Investment Banking - PUI (New York)

A leading global bank is hiring a Vice President to join its Power, Utilities and Infrastructure investment banking coverage in New York. This is a hands-on execution and client-facing role sitting within a well-established sector team, with strong deal flow and a clear path for progression.

The team operates across the full spectrum of PUI coverage, spanning power generation, utilities, renewables, energy transition, and infrastructure assets, with a strong pipeline of M&A and capital markets mandates.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution across M&A, debt, and equity capital markets transactions within the PUI sector
• Manage deal processes end to end, coordinating across internal teams, clients, and counterparties
• Build and maintain client relationships at the senior level, with growing origination responsibility
• Mentor and develop junior team members across the execution process
• Contribute to pitch and business development activity across the sector coverage universe

Requirements

• 4-7 years of investment banking experience with meaningful PUI sector exposure
• Strong execution track record across M&A and/or capital markets in power, utilities, renewables, or adjacent infrastructure sub-sectors
• Proven ability to manage deal processes independently and interact directly with clients
