The successful candidate will contribute to the school’s mission through excellence in teaching, clinical care, research, and service. Responsibilities Providing didactic and clinical instruction and mentoring to predoctoral and postdoctoral students in removable and fixed prosthodontics, implant dentistry, digital dentistry, and maxillofacial prosthodontics. Delivering comprehensive diagnosis, treatment planning, and prosthetic rehabilitation for patients with congenital or acquired craniofacial defects. Participating in interdisciplinary care with colleagues across UNC Health Care and the Health Sciences Schools (Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, and Pharmacy). Engaging in scholarly activities, including clinical or translational research, and contributing to the advancement of the field. Participating in continuing education, faculty development, and professional service at the local, national, or international level. Minimum Qualifications DDS / DMD or equivalent degree Certificate from a CODA‑accredited post‑graduate prosthodontics program Additional training and experience in maxillofacial prosthodontics Excellent clinical credentials and experience in dental implants Demonstrated teaching and scholarly activity Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills Preferred Qualifications Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics or Board eligibility Experience in interdisciplinary care and collaborative research Campus Security Authority Responsibilities This position is designated as a Campus Security Authority in accordance with the Clery Act.
