You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and communicate professionally with staff and visitors. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized vendors at a healthcare-related medical examiner facility by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and verify authorization in accordance with established visitor-management and access-control procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when required. Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. A guard card or license is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
