Tropical Smoothie Cafe – Now Hiring Full-Time & Part-Time Team Members and Shift Leads-OPENING FALL 2026

Tropical Smoothie Cafe is growing, and we’re excited to begin hiring for multiple positions, including Crew Members and Shift Leads. We offer a positive, fast-paced work environment with opportunities for advancement and a focus on exceptional guest service. Tentative opening October/November of 2026. One week of training on site will be required the week prior to opening.

Available Positions

• Crew Members – Starting at $12/hour + tips
• Shift Leads – Starting at $15/hour + tips and receive a free meal during each shift

Scheduling & Hours All shifts are currently available. Cafe operating hours:

• Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• Sunday: 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Interacts with crew members and customers using ‘Tropitude’ (Tropitude is our “mojo” and what makes
Tropical Smoothie Café fun and different. It means having energy and creating a positive atmosphere.)
-Delivers ‘Unparalleled Hospitality’ to each customer that visits our café.
- Prepares ingredients for our food and smoothies.
-Assembles and serves fresh food and smoothies prepared to Tropical Smoothie Cafes’ standards.
-Uses our sanitation practices to handle and prepare food.
-Sets up and monitors food and smoothie work stations.
-Cleans and organizes kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms, and any other areas in the cafe.
-Follows the steps to operate the register including taking customer orders, accurately handling cash, and
being responsible for the drawer.
-Follows all safety and security policies set by the brand.
-Performs any additional tasks necessary to run the cafe.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
-Legally able to work within the State and Federal guidelines.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
-Continuous standing and walking throughout the duration of each shift.
-Bending, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds to perform duties like stocking, refilling ice, or taking out
trash.
-Constant face-to-face interactions with crew members and customers.
-Safely navigate in a fast-paced cafe environment.
-Ability to multi-task and remain positive in sometimes stressful working conditions.

WORKING CONDITIONS
-Most shifts are between four and eight hours, but this may vary.
-Crew Members can expect to have some early mornings, late evenings, weekend, and/or holiday
hours.
-Comply with the Tropical Smoothie Cafe uniform and personal hygiene polices for each shift.
-Fun, fast paced, upbeat environment with no fryers!
