The team is heavily involved in utilizing computer vision, perception, electro-optical, infrared, and sensor data to give our war fighters and allies an advantage.ABOUT THE JOBAs a Production Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing product-agnostic software solutions for our production teams. You'll work cross-functionally with production and software teams to enhance automation and build efficiencies. Your role will involve hands-on software development and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and integration of cutting-edge technologies.WHAT YOU’LL DODevelop product-agnostic software solutions to optimize production efficiency and product qualityDesign and implement hardware testing strategies and toolsCollaborate across multiple teams, especially software and production, to enhance automationCreate and maintain documentation for testing procedures and toolsAnalyze data to identify trends and areas for improvementProvide feedback to design teams for product enhancementsConduct root cause analysis to triage production, product, and process issuesLead system architecture designs of technical initiativesREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field8+ years of professional software development experienceProficiency in programming languages: Python and MATLABExcellent problem-solving/critical thinking skills and attention to detailAbility to work and communicate collaboratively in a cross-functional team environmentDemonstrated accountability and ownership, team-player, self-motivatedDrove strategic design of scalable system architectureFamiliarity with Linux, Git, and networkingEligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearancePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMaster’s degree in a relevant engineering fieldExperience in hardware testing and automated test systemsStrong understanding of hardware-software integrationExperience with data analysis and performance monitoringPrior work in a high-volume manufacturing environmentExperience with: SQL/databases, C/C++, javascript, nixUS Salary Range$191,000—$253,000 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
