Endoscopy Technician-Per Diem

The Endoscopy Technician prepares, maintains, and operates specialized equipment while assisting physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures.
Responsibilities
- Set up, sterilize, and troubleshoot endoscopes
- Pass instruments during procedures (e.g., colonoscopies)
- Handle pathology specimens, monitor patient vitals, and clean/restock suites post-procedure
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Certified Endoscopy Technician (CET) REQUIRED credential
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - American Heart Association
- Experience-12 years in healthcare preferred
- Must know infection control, medical terminology, and have the physical stamina to stand for long periods
