Job Responsibilities

• Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient requirements and create individualized therapy strategies to assist them in reaching their functional milestones.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and skills for daily living.
• Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work in close collaboration with other OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to ensure thorough, patient-centered care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and caregivers about therapeutic practices to encourage sustained improvement at home.
• Track Progress and Outcomes: Monitor clinical progress and adjust treatment schedules as necessary, ensuring that patients remain on their path to recovery.

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
• Encouragement for continuing education or post-graduate certifications.

Licensure & Certifications

• Current OTR/L license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
