Funds Partner/Counsel role @ Boutique Law Firm in NYC

A highly regarded boutique law firm is seeking an experienced Partner/Of Counsel to join its growing Private Funds practice in New York. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior funds attorney looking to play a key role in expanding an established practice while enjoying genuine work-life balance and the autonomy to build their own platform. The Role: Lead private fund formations from structuring through closing. Advise fund sponsors, emerging managers, and institutional investors on fund formation, governance, and regulatory matters. Work closely with corporate, finance, and cross-border teams on sophisticated transactions. Help shape the strategic growth of an expanding funds practice with an existing pipeline of work. Requirements: 10+ years' experience in private fund formation gained at a leading law firm. Proven ability to independently manage complex fund formations. Strong technical drafting and client management skills. Portable relationships are welcomed but not essential for exceptional candidates. New York Bar admission preferred.
