Nurse Aide (Non-Certified) | Saint Therese – Monroe, MI Available Scheduled Shifts per two-week pay period: Positions available include working every other weekend and every other holiday. Morning Shift 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (Part Time | 32 hours per two-week pay period) Evening Shift 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. (Part-Time | 48 hours per two-week pay period) Midnight Shift 10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m. (Part-Time | 40–48 hours per two-week pay period) Sign on Bonus of $2,000 for positions working 48+ hours per two-week pay period and $1,000 for 16 - 47 hours per two week pay period! Responsibilities Provide direct care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes in condition promptly Monitor residents’ physical and emotional well-being and communicate concerns to nursing staff Assist residents with mobility and transfers using approved techniques and equipment (gait belts, mechanical lifts, etc.) Support residents with daily care needs while preserving dignity and independence Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests Foster a respectful, compassionate environment for residents, families, and team members Minimum Requirements Previous experience as a caregiver in a facility, senior care, or similar setting Resident-centered approach with sensitivity to individual needs and abilities Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Basic computer skills for documentation and communication Dependability and ability to follow written and verbal instructions Professional maturity and ability to manage the demands of a care environment Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting and transferring residents Preferred Experience Experience in assisted living or memory care preferred Rewards That Support You Competitive pay with credit for experience Medical, Dental, Vision (60+ hrs. per pay period) HSA / FSA options Employer-paid Life Insurance (60+ hrs. per pay period) PTO and sick time 403(b) with employer match Tuition discounts and scholarships PSLF Eligible Employer Employee discount program Pet insurance Same Day Pay (UKG Wallet) Career growth opportunities About Saint Therese Saint Therese is a faith-based, nonprofit senior living organization with more than 60 years of experience providing compassionate, person-centered care.
