You will oversee first-line of defense compliance activities by identifying, documenting, and resolving various types of risk. Most importantly, this role is about delivering not just answers, but assurance with integrity, caring, and excellence in mind.What you’ll do:Promote and reinforce a strong risk and compliance culture across daily operations by translating enterprise governance, regulatory guidance, and policy requirements into practical, business unit processes and controlsLead first-line risk and compliance governance, including risk assessments and RCSAs, key risk indicator monitoring, control testing, exception reviews, issue remediation, and ensuring Compliance with regulatory and internal standardsOversee the identification, evaluation, and documentation of issues, control gaps, and emerging risks to ensure proper escalation, tracking, and timely remediation of operational incidents and exceptionsManage updates to processes, procedures, and the risk & controls library, while leading operational improvement projects, business continuity planning, and vendor review activitiesCoordinate with second‑line risk and compliance, legal, auditors, and examiners by serving as the primary liaison for compliance and risk questions, examinations, and auditsIntegrate risk and compliance into change management by assessing the risk and control impacts of business initiatives, updating documentation, and advising leadership on personnel-related risks, including training, role clarity, and segregation of dutiesAlways take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomesWhat you’ll need:Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience6+ years of relevant experience in risk management, internal audit, compliance, or related roles within financial servicesStrong understanding of bank products, operations, and regulatory environmentDemonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skillsProven ability to influence and collaborateExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsOur Benefits:At Frost, we care about your health, your family, and your future and strive to have our benefits reflect that.
