About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Consulting with a strategic, market-facing mandate. This role is not primarily operations-focused; instead, it requires the successful candidate to be a market thought leader, a pre-sales partner, and a creative problem-solver in front of clients. The Head of Consulting will be responsible for carrying the gravitas to engage with client executives at all levels, from mid-market to Fortune 50, and for working live deals in a way that teaches and mentors the consulting team. The position demands a player-coach approach, with a strong emphasis on market and thought leadership, pre-sales and creative solutioning, and a genuine interest in bringing others along in the learning process. The ideal candidate will have a genuine, current point of view on AI and digital engineering trends, and the executive presence to build trust with senior stakeholders. They should be experienced in shaping deals, solving ambiguous client problems, and have a teaching instinct that is evident in the growth of their team. Operational fluency is also essential, as the role involves some practice management responsibilities. The Head of Consulting will be measured on their market presence, pre-sales impact, teaching effect, practice health, and incentive alignment.
