Details Work on a 30-bed Medical-Surgical unit Patient ratio of 1:6 Unit supported by Clinical Coordinators, Unit Secretary, PCTs, and Case Management Uses equipment such as walkers, IV pumps, and SCDs Documentation completed in Meditech Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Required to work 4 weekend shifts per 28-day schedule Falls into holiday rotation Floating required as part of unit rotation with other staff Requirements Active RN license (TN or Compact) currently in hand Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted) Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Medical-Surgical experience required, including care for respiratory, renal, and GI conditions, telemetry, CVCs, indwelling catheters, and heparin drips Strong teamwork, compassion, collaboration, and communication skills required No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted) One professional reference required Additional Information Provide direct patient care on a busy Medical-Surgical unit utilizing communication boards to enhance patient experience Required to wear navy blue scrubs Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this travel position Holiday coverage required as part of unit rotation American Traveler Job ID P-744281.
